SolaX Power Australia (SolaX) is assisting LG Energy Solution (LG ES) involuntarily recalling of its affected batteries sold between 2017 and 2018.
Purpose of Recall:
LG ES recently announced a voluntary recall of specific LG batteries due to overheating incidents. These batteries may also catch fire when exposed to harsh external environments.

Following suit, SolaX is working closely with the Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) and providing free replacement of LG batteries contained in the SolaX Products sold between April 2017 and July 2018, as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our customers. In particular, the following SolaX Products include affected LG batteries:
- SolaX PowerStation
- SolaX X-cabinet
How to identify whether your product has an LG Battery:
If you purchased a SolaX Product between 2017 to 2018, please register with SolaX via email email@example.com or telephone number +61 1300 476 529. A self-check guide is enclosed to help you identify whether your product contains the affected LG Battery, or directly send photos of your product to SolaX, as instructed in the guide, and SolaX will help identify the battery for you, sending a team of technicians to the site for the replacement, accordingly.
